Launched by Holly Fox-Lee in 2023, without a fixed exhibition space, Weald Contemporary takes an intentionally flexible approach to presenting contemporary art. Exhibitions, projects workshops, panel discussions and events have taken place in Brighton, Worthing, Chichester, Arundel and online, creating opportunities to bring artists and audiences together in different contexts and settings.

The gallery is ambitious in its programme and artist-led in its approach, working with some of the most thought-provoking artists working in contemporary art today.

We are interested in practices that challenge, question and expand how we understand the world, and in creating the right context for artists to develop and present their work.
