The pieces I am presenting in Under the Laurels each attend to nature and our relationship to it. They are somewhat varied in their approach; some are drawn directly from observation, while others come from the imagination, or exist somewhere in between. They share a sensitivity to line, detail and texture, and a tendency toward pattern and repetition.
