Cissbury Ring is a well-known archeological site near worthing, with evidence of human activity dating back to neolithic times. Visitors walk its many circular paths as they have done for thousands of years. ‘Paysage’, based on a location drawing, is part of a series of paintings and drawings I’ve made about Cissbury and the surrounding area. This particular print shows the influence of one of my favourite artists Caspar David Friedrich.
